Michael Davis I hit this wall back in my Five Points tech center days. A client brought in a USB drive full of .wmv files from an old Windows PC, and her Mac just wouldn’t play them. Turns out the solution is shockingly simple. VLC Media Player handles Windows Media files natively on macOS without extra codecs … Read more
I’ve lost count of how many times I yanked an iPod Nano too soon and paid the price. ⚡ That tiny click of doom means your music library just turned into a paperweight. The trick is knowing which objects are locked. Most titles live on a background page or a protected layer, which is why your clicks … Read more
Three years into my YouTube series, I still see people wrestling with hidden PowerPoint objects. ✨ There’s a smarter way to see what’s stacked on your slide without clicking through everything. PowerPoint doesn’t have a traditional layers panel, but the Selection Pane does the same job. Open it from the Home tab, and you’ll see … Read more
I still remember the first time a professor docked me points for exceeding a word count by 50 characters. Turns out, Word makes this ridiculously simple to check.
